Unlike the coniferous trees growing in Bulgaria, the northern ones are characterized by a finer structure, low resin content, and greater durability. This is due to the fact that they grow slowly at very low temperatures.

The northern spruce is a light wood with a limited number of knots. It is used in saunas with lower humidity levels, with standard execution (type CARELIA).
