Standard models (cab type) with fixed dimensions and equipment are also available. The atmosphere of a real Finnish sauna is achieved by using special types of wood with a very low resin content and a strong structure. the most common veneer options are low-resin spruce and white pine. White pine has a minimal number of plugs and is used in higher end saunas and luxury designs. The interior of the sauna (benches, backrests, etc.) uses African abachi wood (banana wood) due to its low thermal conductivity.
