It combines two disinfection methods, hydrolysis and salt electrolysis, providing maximum disinfection with minimal chlorine production.
Way of working:
Oxilife is a water treatment system that combines electrolysis with low salinity and hydrolysis. Electrolysis produces chlorine from water that is very slightly saline (from 1.5 to 2.5g/L).
After the water is disinfected, the hydrochloric acid (HCl) reacts with the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) in a so-called neutralization reaction.
The chlorine generated by the electrolysis process destroys organic matter and pathogens in the water before it is converted to sodium chloride.
The process itself continues with the subsequent binding of sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) ions, which again form sodium chloride (NaCl) (salt).
NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H₂O
Hydrolysis produces disinfectants such as oxygen (O₂), hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), and ozone (O₃). All of these oxidizers destroy organic matter and pathogenic agents in the water.
The system controls all components of the pool, ensuring efficient interaction.
